WHAT ARE PROBIOTICS? 

Probiotics are live bacteria that are good for your health, especially your digestive system. We usually think of 

bacteria as something that causes diseases, but your body is full of bacteria; both good and bad. Probiotics are often called "good" or "helpful" bacteria because they help keep your gut healthy.  Probiotics are alive and plentiful in all of our delicious, raw ferments!

WHAT IS KOMBUCHA? 

Kombucha is a fermented tea full of naturally occurring, live probiotics. It is a tangy, slightly bubbly drink that aids in digestion by providing good bacteria to your digestive tract.  It has beneficial acids that detoxify your body, support your immune system, and balance your internal pH. It also contains vitamin B. Kombucha is a healthy alternative to sodas and sugary beverages.

WHAT IS KIMCHI?

Kimchi is a traditional Korean dish of spicy fermented veggies.  At Turtle Mountain we put our own delicious spin on this ferment. Our kimchi is raw and fermented with organic celtic sea salt and bursting with live probiotics.  It is made with a spicy medley of vegetables and pairs well with tacos, rice dishes, and scrambled eggs!  Check our our recipe tab for ideas!

WHAT IS SAUERKRAUT?

Sauerkraut is a traditional German dish made of raw fermented cabbage with salt. During fermentation this combination creates delicious probiotics! As usual we put a fun and funky twist on it and fermented with Organic Celtic Sea Salt to make two delicious flavors, Apple-Caraway and Garlic-Onion.  Sauerkraut pairs well with sandwiches, salads, and anything BBQ!
